I wanted to share with you all my recent adventures at the Sherwood Forest Faire, where I had an absolute blast over the past few weekends. Here’s a recap of the fun-filled days:
A Day of Festivities
Hear ye, hear ye! On March 2nd, I ventured to Sherwood Forest Faire with some good friends, and what a day it was! We immersed ourselves in the lively atmosphere, catching shows, enjoying parades, browsing through quaint shops, and soaking up the medieval charm. This year, I upgraded my costume, and I must say, it was well worth it! The day was filled with knights, horses, fairies, and wizards—a true adventure in every sense.
A Growing Clan
Fast forward to March 31st, another weekend day trip to Sherwood Forest Faire with our expanding group of friends! It was a joy to introduce Sherwood to some first-time attendees among us. We cheered on musical performances, marveled at jousting matches and combat displays, and strolled through the vibrant grounds, soaking in the medieval festivities. Each visit brings new discoveries and renewed excitement.
Rain or Shine
Closing out the faire season on April 21st was an unforgettable experience, despite the rain! We embraced the weather and enjoyed new shows, added more gear to our already elaborate costumes, and welcomed new friends into our merry band. I even arrived early to participate in historical weapons training and LARPing demonstrations, which added a deeper layer of immersion to the day.
Embracing the Faire Spirit
Sherwood Forest Faire never fails to deliver a magical escape into the past, where history meets fantasy and community thrives. Whether rain or shine, each visit brings its own set of adventures and unforgettable moments. It’s a place where friendships are forged over shared love for medieval lore and where everyone can let their inner adventurer shine.
