I just had the most amazing 32nd birthday weekend, filled with adventure, laughter, and unforgettable moments! Here’s a recap of the festivities:
Indoor Skydiving Thrills
I kicked off my birthday weekend with a thrilling experience at an indoor skydiving facility. Although it won’t become a regular hobby, the simulated free fall during the “high fly” experience was exhilarating! If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend trying it out.
Axe Throwing and Bar Fun
After indoor skydiving, I joined friends for some axe throwing. It was a blast teaching everyone underhanded throws and mastering the art of throwing the big axe! We wrapped up the night at a nearby bar, celebrating with drinks and laughter.
Birthday Celebration at The Brewtorium
The celebrations continued with games and good times at The Brewtorium Brewery & Kitchen. We enjoyed the sunny weather outdoors, transitioning from the lively atmosphere inside to private tables out back. A huge thank you to everyone who joined me for the festivities!
Fun at Zilker Park
We spent another fantastic day at Zilker Park, soaking in the sun and playing lawn games. It was a joy to be approached by Girl Scouts selling cookies, Red Bull girls handing out samples, and other groups intrigued by our flag. Thanks to all my friends who came out to hang out—it made the day even more special!
Birthday Steak Lunch and Dessert
I savored a delicious birthday steak lunch with my family at Barlett’s, where we enjoyed a complimentary dessert that topped off the meal perfectly. A quick trip to Sam’s Club wrapped up this delightful family gathering.
Underground Voices Live Open Mic
To cap off my birthday celebrations, I attended the Underground Voices Live open mic event on East 6th Street. It was a night filled with talented comedians, singers, and rap performers. I especially enjoyed the musical acts and was surprised with a thoughtful thrifted painting from a friend—a perfect end to an incredible birthday “day”!
