Roadtrip Day 1 – Photos

The following photos are the highlights from my first day on the road, which really started after I passed Winstar Casino in Oklahoma till the outskirts of Salina Kansas.

This was the initial break in the storm as I was leaving Oklahoma and entering Kansas.

These two dog statues are the main attraction for this gas station, which also features a dog park.

 

Here’s a selfie with my favorite of the two dog statues from the dog-friendly gas station.

 

And then there was the bulldog, he needed some selfie love too.

Th visitor center looked pretty nice, too bad it was closed! Luckily the attached McDonald’s wasn’t, and the souvenir shop had some nice window displays.
