Celebrating the Autumnal Equinox with TreeFolks
I recently had the pleasure of attending TreeFolks’ Autumnal Equinox Party at Meanwhile Brewing Company. It was a delightful event filled with community spirit, learning about trees, and enjoying the company of friends and new acquaintances. Here’s a recap of my experience:
Autumnal Equinox Party
I kicked off my Saturday morning at the Autumnal Equinox Party hosted by TreeFolks. The event was held at Meanwhile Brewing Company, a perfect venue for this charity gathering. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the organization did an excellent job setting up engaging activities, including acorn pong!
Fun and Learning Under the Shade
I enjoyed spending time with friends who I invited, as well as meeting new people, all while learning fascinating facts about the onsite trees. Despite the heat, the shade provided a cool respite, making it a pleasant experience overall.
Embracing Community and Nature
Attending TreeFolks’ Autumnal Equinox Party was more than just a social outing; it was an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for trees and environmental stewardship. The event underscored TreeFolks’ commitment to fostering community engagement and raising awareness about the importance of urban forests.

I’m grateful to TreeFolks for organizing such a meaningful event and to Meanwhile Brewing Company for hosting us in their inviting tree-covered space. It was inspiring to see so many people come together to celebrate nature and support a worthy cause.
