Personal Project: DIY Hanging Planter Stand

by Taylor Nelson / Sunday, 23 August 2020 / Published in General, Personal Projects, Texas

I came across these sawhorse brackets at a hardware store and thought they might work to expand my hanging planter garden! Basically I made oversize sawhorses or A-frames with some 2×4’s and some hinging clamps! I screwed in seven eye-hooks to attach the Topsy Turvy bags.

I filled up the newer Topsy Turvy bags with a soil and worm casting mix after loading each bag with herbs. The sweet basil didn’t wind up taking root, however the lemon balm plants were growing and thriving!

Tie-Dye Outdoor Drying Rack

The DIY Hanging Planter Stand also worked well as an outdoor drying stand for homemade tie-dye projects!
